Description
Shady forest, towering tree ferns, moss covered rocks and a small waterfall make this short loop walk a good option on a hot summers day.
Following the Fern Glade track upstream you are surrounded by lush green vegetation and the constant sound of running water. Leaving the creek behind the track winds through wet forest before dropping down to the small cascade that is Silver Falls. Following the creek downstream you reach Fern Tree Bower.
The photos and descriptions on the interpretation panels here show how popular this historic picnic spot once was. Complete the walk by following the wide and shady Pipeline Track back to Fern Tree Park.
